Littlest Pet Shop Giraffe
To date there have been five littlest pet shop giraffe figures released in the following series -- friendliest, sassiest, and funniest as well as a postcard pet released last year. The first giraffe that was ever produced by Hasbro's littlest pet shop line was number 440, this one has been dubbed Geoffrey and was released as part of a Valentines day special for Toys "R" Us.
The first giraffe officially released in the United States was pet number 526, he was released as a Toys "R" Us exclusive and was sold as a single pet all by himself. He is a member of the friendliest series and is orange with brown eyes and the characteristic hearts for pupils, which denotes that a he is from the friendliest series and arrives in his package with a green or a red bowl for accessories.
After the previous fellow was released as a TRU exclusive the next to be released in mid-2008 was the funniest littlest pet shop giraffe number 633. He was sold as a pet pair, who originally came with an adorable pink mouse 632. The accessories that arrived with this particular pet pair was nothing to get excited for it appears to be a simple grapevine or some other type of plant.
He is yellow and has blue eyes and as said before he is a member of the funniest series therefore he has 4 small circles grouped together in his eyes to denote his series.
In September of 2008 when Hasbro was busy releasing their first wave of postcard pets they decided to include little safari giraffe 902. He is tan with orange and green eyes, on this fur are what look to be tribal markings that he may have obtained while traveling abroad in Africa. This little giraffe comes with some nice accessories and includes a small palm tree with base as well as a hat to protect his head from the blazing desert sun.
The packaging of this set is very nice and includes a picture of her real giraffe as well as a sticker that could be used to obtain the now expired littlest pet shop koala offer.
Then we arrive at another giraffe addition to the littlest pet shop line with a beautiful sassiest giraffe whose number is 943 this little guy is more pink and red-ish as opposed to the standard orange and brown like the others.
He is a sassiest pet so his eyes contain small stars as pupils. Just like another giraffe he arrives with a small red or green bowl for an accessory and he is also a Toys "R" Us exclusive pet.
The newest littlest pet shop Giraffe as of 2010 is number 1610 he arrives with a buddy in the same packaging who is a blue bird with a number of accessories like a guitar or banjo and it clips to the animals so they can play away. The giraffe is the usual spotted variety and has light blue and aqua colored eyes. His skin has the real feel to it with small raised bumps where his rosettes are. He also has the cute little 'LPS' Tattoo on his right rear leg
