Littlest Pet Shop Snake Collectible Special Edition 969 With Basket
The Littlest Pet Shop Snake #969 has been a very popular serpent for Hasbro's line of Littlest Pet Shop Toys for quite a while now. When trying to locate this littlest snake for sale it has been a rather difficult endeavor but we finally managed to get ours. When we finally located ours it was in a Wal-mart in our local area.
When looking online all we ever found was a Assortment 'A' Series 3 Collectible Figure #969 listed at many major online retailers and he was listed for over $30 at most places. There is also a Walmart exclusive snake available and his number is #1259 We just could not bring ourselves to pay that kind of money for the littlest pet shop snake.
The Littlest Pet Shop Serpent 969 is a beautiful emerald green with a slightly yellowish green underbelly. He comes with a yellow snake charming basket for an accessory. He is also a member of the Sassiest family of pets. Moral of the story is please do not pay exorbitant amounts for this little guy, if you look around you will surely find your LPS snake if you exhibit some patience.
****EDIT****
Since this post was originally written in November of 2009, there have been several other Littlest Pet Shop snakes released. Included are a few numbers as well as new colors too.
The new serpent toys from Hasbro are as follows:
#1259 is a powdery light blue and pink stripped snake or cobra as he is sometimes called with light orange and burnt orange eyes.
#1387 Toys R Us exclusive Snake which means you can only get t it there or online. This little buddy is a pale orange color with pink stripping on the underside. She has teal and blue-green eyes and also has intricate eyelashes on the inner and outer edges of the eyes, leading me to believe she is a girl snake.
#1849 Littlest Pet Shop Blythe Desert Fun Pink Snake is a coral or hot pink color with lots of lighter pink stripping and decorations throughout the body and head. His/Her eyes are a tan and light brown color and there are a pair of spots on the forehead as well as the underbelly.
#1828 is a Littlest Pet Shop Lavender Girl Snake with yellow under belly, you can tell she is female due to the pink bow that comes attached to her head. Her eyes are a light blue with aqua colored perimeter and she has what look to be eyelashes too.
